Limestone products have grown enormously in popularity over the past decade in both domestic and commercial properties, but it is a market that has been led by retailers selling imported limestones. That is not entirely surprising as the quarrying of limestone in the UK is carried out on a much smaller scale than it is on the Continent.

Nevertheless, there is a demand for english limestone, both in the Uk and overseas, and one company producing them and specifially targeting them to the UK retail market is English Limestone Ltd. We are a family run business, working from our own Lincolnshire quarries.

We currently produce various limestone products. We don't stop there though - we can become involved in every aspect, from the initial design process through to the laying & fitting, our bespoke service offering cabochens and border, skirting, cills, steps & staircases, fireplaces & hearths and various walling stones - the concept is often as important as the product!
